BRIDESHEAD

This weekend I wrapped up my viewing of BBC's Brideshead Revisited mini series, adapted from Evelyn Waugh's novel of the same name.  Jeremy Irons stole my heart as Charles Ryder, a humble Oxford boy who falls in (platonic?) love with the aristocratic bon vivant, Sebastian.  Family drama, and actual war, ensues and their innocent infatuation heartbreakingly turns sour.   It is so lovely, so British.  Please do watch.
